New Motorcyclist Community Events to Benefit Non-Profits

A global pandemic. Worldwide lockdowns. Quarantined, closed in, and movement of almost every kind restricted; this is what 2020 brought us. The new year is bringing renewed spirits and a vibrating appeal for freedom. Few things symbolize American freedom and yearning for the open roads quite like motorcycles. While the first half of 2020 had two-wheeled vehicle sales plummeting, as the time spent in lockdown lengthened, so did the desire to secure the quickest mobile freedom available. The rebound in sales was seen as early as September, with the MIC (Motorcycle Industry Council) reporting a 10.2% increase over year-to-date sales.

There is little doubt the rising trend will continue, and as you choose which bike to ride into your new freedom, it is important to remember the freedom you crave only lasts when you’re riding, not sliding, down the open roads! Wondering how to keep yourself safe without sacrificing your adventurer’s spirit? Keep checking back here throughout the year as we post articles covering motorcycle life, from new ride rollouts, safety, and gear to how to choose the right insurance and what to do if accidents happen.

We will have plenty of fun along the way, and to kick things off. Join Piedmont Injury Law on Thursday, February 25th, at Pisano’s Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen from 6-9pm for our “Safety First” Biker Night, benefiting the Georgia Motorcycle Safety Program. Free motorcycle safety inspections on-site along with great giveaways and food and drink specials.
